Philosophy on Stage is a festival format at the edge of philosophy and arts.
A main interest of of this format to do philosophy is to elaborate this precarious status of matter within the performance of an act to show that matter is not only a necessary condition to actually fulfill an act, but plays a significant role in determining the semantic meaning of it.
Slogan of the last festival Philosophy On Stage #3 at House Wittgenstein in Vienna (sponsored by the Austrian Science Funds FWF TRP 12-G21): Have you ever met an objective, apathetic, selfless, untouchable, context-free body? The body that the sciences are obviously still seeking when they put forward their theories of bodies (at all) in order to put a concept of it in the place of the body itself.
