Georg Doecker, M.A., born 1988 in Vienna, Austria, is PhD student at Roehampton University, London, and the recipient of PhD stipends from Roehampton University and the TECHNE consortium. From 2015 until 2018, he was working in the frame of the research project “Theatre as Dispositif,” located at Giessen University, Germany, funded by the German Research Association. His research interests include: Experimental theatre, dance, and performance of the 20th and 21st century; power relations and technologies of power; mimesis and theatricality; and the work of Antonin Artaud.
