Onward to “An Encounter Residency”

Join us for a week-long cultural expedition to Varanasi as we invite performers, artists, theatre practitioners and academicians alike. The expedition seeks to uncover a unique way of experiencing the city landscape by moving beyond the “touristic gaze” and encounter a spectrum of hues and shades that the city can offer. The experience will be shaped by a unique composition of individuals who engage in different fields of expertise. Herein, after each visit, discussions on the cultural nuances of these sights, and their repercussions on the contemporary social and aesthetic discourses in India will be solicited.
